Rawlins statue → Statue of John Aaron Rawlins – Proposed title seems to be more consistent with other articles about statues of people ("Statue of XXX", rather than "XXX statue", and uses the title of the parent article (John Aaron Rawlins). --Another Believer _(Talk) 22:29, 5 July 2019 (UTC)

Could you provide a couple examples? In cases like Robert E. Lee, for example it's common knowledge about his military career, so "general" is unnecessary. However, in this man's case here, it's different. --Comment by Selfie City (talk about my contributions) 18:35, 6 July 2019 (UTC)

• Support per nomination and would also support Statue of John A. Rawlins. As of this writing, almost all entries under such categories as Category:Statues in Washington, D.C. depict statue subjects in a "name first" fashion even though, it would seem, statues should be indeed indicated as "Statue of..." Although the statue in question depicts Rawlins as a general, he also served as the nation's highest civilian military official, the Secretary of War, and the statue inscription is simply "RAWLINS", thus suggesting that, in this case, the prefix "General" is not essential.

As for the main title header, since Rawlins was apparently best known as "John A.", rather than as "John Aaron", per the title of his 1916 biography, The Life of John A. Rawlins: Lawyer, Assistant Adjutant-General, Chief of Staff, Major General of Volunteers, and Secretary of War, by James Harrison Wilson, a possible proposal to rename the parent article, John Aaron Rawlins, to John A.
