PIRATES!

Grumpy, could you please leave the piracy category in. Lots of people are interested in pirates but have never heard of the Barbary Wars and will not find it otherwise. They just think all pirates were in the Caribbean! Jameswilson 22:56, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Shouldn't the same rule then apply to Salé, Dey, Karamanli dynasty and all the other articles under Category:Barbary Wars? Furthermore, I fail to see how this article can work as a portal to the Barbary wars. There is, after all both a sub-category and an article covering the subject, as there is an article covering Piracy in the Caribbean. I think the article should not be double-categorized according to Guidelines - Some general guidelines 3.[1]--Grumpy444grumpy 06:59, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

MOROCCO???

There seems to be some minor conspiracy to confuse Tunisian locations like Cape Blanc with Moroccan topics, because they had similar names when under French "protection". In any case, you're right: the page has nothing whatsoever to do with Morocoo. — LlywelynII 05:16, 4 November 2018 (UTC)

Population

We list the population as 10530 as of 2014. The French version of this page, which is sourced and likely much more accurate given Tunisia's French history, has the population as 5345 for the same year. — LlywelynII 11:32, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
