Remakes

Apparently there are loads of remakes, perhaps this could be mentioned.--Darrelljon 15:16, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

For example, here's a link.--Darrelljon 15:21, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

Trivia

Is there a reason that the trivia section suddenly jumps into first person? I don't think this is correct, or it's at least not stated correctly. This needs to be fixed. Jet082 21:47, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

This page needs more information on responses to the game as well as the "Ghostbusters Rule." I may put it in myself, but someone with primary information would be more useful. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Whursey (talk • contribs) on 16:11, 30 December 2005.

It should be pointed out that, while four Ghostbusters get out to push the Ectomobile when it runs out of gas...only three Ghostbusters go up the stairs at the end of the game to fight Gozer. Game design issue, or racisit attitudes creeping in? Reverend Raven 10:39, 30 January 2006 (UTC)

Considering the amount of mistakes and the sloppy play mechanism, I lean away from thinking that there were racist issues in the production of this game. WiiAlbanyGirl 22:51, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
I've played Ghostbusters a lot, and I've never had the Ectomobile run out of gas. Was this a NES-only feature? JIP | Talk 15:11, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
Having only played the NES version, I can't speculate on other formats. But indeed. Poor Winston. Reverend Raven 19:36, 4 February 2006 (UTC)

I read in MikroBitti magazine that the game started development as a normal game where you just drove around in a city and the Ghostbusters theme was an afterthought when the publisher realised they could make more money that way. Is this true? JIP | Talk 15:11, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

Mistakes

I'm trying to figure out why the grammar is so incorrect in this section, and why the "Angry Video Game Nerd" is continually referenced without any sources. Can this be sourced through a different site? WiiAlbanyGirl 22:48, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Naming the boss building by Zuul, is not a mistake (it still is stupid). It is the building where Dana lived, and even in most time of the movie, all they knew about the villain, was name Zuul. Plus Dana (who lived in the "zuul building") turned in to Zuul in the end of the movie. So the real mistake in the game is, that there is no explanation for Zuul building's name (as there is no explanation for anything really) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.175.206.75 (talkcontribs) 16:50, 24 April 2007.

When I say grammatical errors, that is what I mean by mistakes. The grammar is terrible in this section, and because there is only one sourced used that does not use proper grammar either, it's difficult to rewrite. Also, please sign your posts with 4 tildes so we can all have more efficient communication. Thanks! WiiAlbanyGirl 17:07, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
I've tidied it up a bit, but I couldn't make head nor tail of that section about money to get into the building and getting through the stay puft man, so I left that out. I kept the "gorza" typo mistake though. Tbone762 12:11, 5 May 2007 (UTC)

"Original Research"?

While I have read the guidelines on original research, I can't quite understand how they apply here. Many of the "Mistakes" that were removed because they're "original research" are not opinions and/or theories being put forth by someone trying to promote their own viewpoints. Nor do they fall into any of the categories listed under "What is excluded?" on the same page. Instead, they're things you can see by simply plugging in the various versions of the game and looking at them. This appears to fall under being able to use primary sources to "only make descriptive claims, the accuracy of which is easily verifiable by any reasonable, educated person without specialist knowledge" and "make no analytic, synthetic, interpretive, explanatory, or evaluative claims". At worst, the title of the section could be renamed "differences from the movie story" or something similar. - 76.105.67.208 06:06, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

Source

If anyone can locate copies of these magazines, there are additional reviews which can be added to this article:

AVGN

Only a passing mention of the Angry Video Game Nerd's review needs to be made, not a paragraph summarizing it.
