Not worthy of comment in the article, but perhaps of interest to a researcher, might be mentions, in various early issues of Wine and Food (“A Gastronomical Quarterly Edited by André L. Simon”) of “The Dowager Lady Swaythling” attending dinners also attended by ALS. E.g., one is mentioned in the talk page of Edwin Hubble.
