Champlain Flyer; Still Alive in the Green Mountain Railroad

edit

According to the Green Mountain Railroad's official webpage the Champlain Flyer still operates as a Green Mountain Railroad branch, just as the Green Mountain & White River branches do.

Somebody should look into this, and start making some corrections. ---- DanTD 01:12, 21 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

well that link is dead now, and its possible that back in 07 they just hadn't updated the page yet, (I've seen business pages not updated since the late 90's).
On a totally unrelated note does anyone know if the tracks that run threw Okemo Mountain are still used?--Alex at kms (talk) 19:11, 3 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
Well, here's the replacement. ----DanTD (talk) 20:11, 3 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Missing locomotive

edit

They also had a 2-8-0 numbered 15. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.249.1.161 (talk) 05:42, 5 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Done I added the information regarding Green Mountain 15 to the article back in November. That locomotive was only owned by the Green Mountain Railroad for a few years before reverting back to Rahway Valley #15 in 1973. --JCC the Alternate Historian (talk) 14:14, 6 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Urgent Help With Article/Edit Request 3/9/2018

edit

I need some urgent help with this article! When I was editing the Green Mountain Railroad article yesterday, I decided to add two sources to mention the fates of former units #400 and #401 after they were sold by the GMCR. However, after I completed the edit, the information about #401 somehow moved down into the reference section and oddly became the source for #400 with the real source for the latter not showing up at all!. I tried fixing the problem directly after that, but it didn't help at all! Could someone please help fix the mistake? I can't figure out what is causing the problem. Just in case the sources for 400 and 401 get removed and need to be readded, I am going to place them here below this comment.

http://www.danbury.org/drm/alco/alco2.html - Source for #400

http://www.danburyrailwaymuseum.org/nh0673.htm - Other source for #400

http://catskillmtrailroad.com/cmrr_401.php - Source for #401

I also have commented on this on my talk page. If anyone fixes the problem, you can tell me either here or on my talk page. --JCC the Alternate Historian (talk) 20:46, 9 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

All set. Each "ref name" needed a closing bracket. I also added the Danbury Railway Museum link that you listed above. --Ken Gallager (talk) 20:50, 9 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
I wasn't able to access the Danbury.org link. If you get a chance, you might consider converting the refs to the {{Cite web}} format so you can display information such as page title, publisher, etc. --Ken Gallager (talk) 20:53, 9 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
Thank you Ken Gallager! Sorry about the inconvenience, but at least it's fixed now. I'll take your references from now on. By the way, I also left a message on the Vermont Railway talk page discussing the problem with the former units template with #381 not being where it is suppose to be. Could you please help me out with that? You can reply back to me on that talk page. JCC the Alternate Historian (talk) 14:59, 10 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
