The result of the move request was: page moved. Fortunately none of the text from the sub-stub previously at the target was ever incorporated into this article, so that history did not need to be preserved. Andrewa (talk) 18:59, 24 September 2017 (UTC)
Greenwich Library, Connecticut → Greenwich Library – Move to proper name for the library. There are not yet any other known places named "Greenwich Library", so disambiguation is not needed. If an article gets started for a library in Greenwich, England, and disambiguation becomes needed, then the proper way to disambiguate this one is to use parenthetical city-state disambiguation as in "Greenwich Library (Greenwich, Connecticut)", as done for historic libraries listed on the U.S. National Register and other U.S. places. A one-sentence article existed briefly at Greenwich Library (currently a redirect), but this Greenwich Library, Connecticut article is longer, and its edit history is the edit history more worth preserving. doncram 18:11, 17 September 2017 (UTC)
- Support. Unnecessary overprecision for only article using the name. Note this was created a couple of weeks ago at Greenwich library and moved because of the bad capitalization, but that should have been fixed without appending the state, especially using a comma rather than parentheses. - Support per nomination and Station1. —Roman Spinner (talk)(contribs) 21:06, 18 September 2017 (UTC)
