The result of the move request was: not moved to suggested targets. I will, however, move the article to Gurteen, County Galway, as that idea was not opposed and it makes the article title more consistent with the naming guideline and other articles in the same category. – The other Gurteens I have found on Wikipedia either have no info, are spelled slightly differently and are not a village or a place. Relisted. Jenks24 (talk) 11:53, 20 August 2014 (UTC) Davidcunniffe (talk) 21:29, 11 August 2014 (UTC)
- Page Gurteen is a disambig of 7 choices. Is this Gurteen dominant? Anthony Appleyard (talk) 04:02, 12 August 2014 (UTC)
- Comment wouldn't Gurteen railway station be spelled "Gurteen" with a disambiguatory term attached? -- 65.94.169.222 (talk) 06:18, 12 August 2014 (UTC)
- Some are partial title matches (such as the railway station) that would only be referred to as Gurteen in specific contexts, but Gurteen, County Tipperary and Gorteen (also spelled "Gurteen") also exist and there's no evidence to show that the County Galway village is primary (size of article isn't relevant). The top results on Google search are companies, or people with the surname, and with "Ireland" added many are for Gurteen, County Sligo (i.e. Gorteen) or Castle Gurteen de la Poer (in Kilsheelan, and a partial match, but possibly related to the townland). I'd support moving it to Gurteen, County Galway, consistent with others in the category and with the county's article; "Galway" is usually used for disambiguatng places (usually buildings) in the city. - I would say the station is not a PTM, it is just "Gurteen", but Wikipedia naming conventions adds "railway station" to the name for disambiguation. -- 65.94.169.222 (talk) 04:42, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
- Not for disambiguation - even unambiguous names such as Manchester Victoria and Ashford International are not the titles of the articles. Peter James (talk) 13:27, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
- Whatever it is, it isn't part of the name (otherwise it'd be capitalized, per naming conventions). -- 65.94.169.222 (talk) 04:42, 15 August 2014 (UTC)

- Oppose. The current title is clear and helpful. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 00:47, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
- Relisted as a multi-move. Jenks24 (talk) 11:53, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose. Clearly not unambiguous and it is not clear that there is a primary topic. Like SmokeyJoe, my preference is to have article names that are clear, unambiguous and informative. Vegaswikian (talk) 20:37, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
