The result of the move request was: dab page moved to Héctor López (disambiguation), while baseball player stays put. Favonian (talk) 17:55, 27 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hector LopezHéctor López (disambiguation) – or Hector Lopez (disambiguation) without the accents, I do not know what is the Wikipedia standard so I am asking others for help. Doesn't make sense for this title to be a dab page (disambiguating three pages all with the accents) while Héctor López is an actual article about a Panamanian baseball player; instead this title should redirect to that one. quant18 (talk) 10:13, 20 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Support adding diacritics to the title, as all subjects listed have them. Hector Lopez should thus redirect to Héctor López. These name-disambiguation pages generally don't have (disambiguation) in the title, however. They may also include information about the name. See Adele and Juanfran, for two examples I've recently worked with.
Oppose moving the baseball player, however. That would be a WP:COMMONNAME issue, and looking at the page traffic statistics, he is indeed the most popular topic here, but not significantly enough for a move, in my opinion. Others may disagree. --BDD (talk) 19:58, 20 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
