I was surprised to see the original article had been deleted,but I am unable to discover why. It seems to me that the worst peacetime accident involving naval volunteers in the UK would make useful wiki article.It was a major news story in the UK in the Autumn of 1976,as was the subsequent enquiry. Please correct any inaccuracies in the article or enlarge it but please allow the story of the Fittleton disasaster to be told.
