Birth year
editThe article gave her year of birth as 1971 which is obviously wrong to anyone familiar with her work. This source [1] reviewing her autobiography strongly implies that she was born in 1959 so I've altered it to that (maybe she gives the actual year in her book). Crisso 15:04, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
Iworked with her at HMSO in 1974 and she was at least 17 then. i think she was born in 1957
Try December 1954... Chunky99 (talk) 01:09, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
- I've just tried looking her up on the Birth Index to help settle the matter but could not find an H. Hayridge registered between 1950-1960. I couldn't even find a Hayridge. This would suggest that this is not her real name or she wasn't born in England as we believe.Crisso (talk) 23:06, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
- That's because there is suggestive evidence that she was born as Carol Bayford, although chapter and verse are disappointingly thin. That's why I have removed this from related articles and a Google/BMD search shows nothing clear, or that I can afford to pay for right now. Rodhullandemu 23:38, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
Lexx not Lex
editAccording to IMDB she played Sub-Warden Heidi in Season 4, Episode 3: P4X (27 July 2001). Also the show is not American but rather a joint German/Canadian effort. It was produced by Salter Street Films International, TiMe Film- und TV-Produktions GmbH, Chum Television, Silverlight Ltd., VIP Babelsberger Filmproduktion GmbH & Co. KG, Vif Babelsberger Filmproduktion GmbH & Co. Erste K.
What an awful photo
editThe photo currently used for this article (as of the time stamp of this message) is the epitome of why people such as myself feel the "free use" images provided to Wikipedia are crap. In fact, the image used for this article is so awful that I am considering removing it under the justification of WP:BOLD but more importantly that it is so unflattering to the subject that it violates WP:BLP. 23skidoo 22:35, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- I would disagree with the removal (it's better than nothing, and there's no provision in WP:BLP that says photos have to be flattering), but I agree that it would be nice to have a better photo. Videmus Omnia Talk 23:31, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
