ELBO → ELVO – This is the romanized acronym actually used by the company in English, as opposed to the Greek acronym "ΕΛΒΟ"; see [1] and note that the beta Β here represents a "v" sound as is typical in Modern Greek. The company seems to be discussed only sparingly in English; there's not much evidence for what sources prefer, because there are no sources. Surely in such cases the company's own preferred romanization ought to be used. 172.9.22.150 (talk) 03:47, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
- Support - "Elvo/Elbo vehicle Greece" are exactly matched with 130 hits each in Google Books, but www.elvo.gr/en/home/ makes it pretty obvious what the company is called. WP:COMMONNAME only applies where there are e.g. 80/20 imbalances between official name and popular name, not in a 50/50 case. In ictu oculi (talk) 09:02, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
- Support pretty much exactly based on what In ictu oculi said. Red Slash 02:59, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
