Real Estate
editThis page is void any real estate history while Melvin's has all the deals. Is this on purpose?--CharlesDeMint (talk) 23:03, 11 February 2016 (UTC)

Herbert Simon (real estate) → Herb Simon (executive) – Per WP:COMMONNAME. Pretty much every source/news outlet refers to the subject as "Herb Simon".
Now, Herb Simon currently redirects to Herbert A. Simon, so we have to disambiguate, but I'm not sure if "real estate" is quite right since the subject's main notoriety is through sports ownership. "Executive" should cover both his main fields of business. Adeletron 3030 (talk • edits) 17:28, 14 December 2023 (UTC)
- Move to Herbert Simon (businessman). We avoid terms like "executive" and we generally disambiguate using what people are, not what field they're in. "Businessman" is our standard disambiguator for men who are in business. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:57, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
- @Necrothesp Thanks for pointing that out. Though my main concern is the shorter, more common "Herb" over "Herbert". I think Herb Simon (businessman) is more in line with Wikipedia guidelines. Adeletron 3030 (talk • edits) 15:39, 20 December 2023 (UTC)
- Fine by me. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:40, 20 December 2023 (UTC)
