Deletion?
editThe fact that Herve Leger is an internationally recognized brand with boutiques worldwide, including several in the United States as well as Europe, as well as the brand's inclusion in the Fall 2008 Fashion Week presentations, should, in my opinion, suffice as indications of the significance of the subject. - OK I'll buy that, so I've downgraded the speedy deletion tag to a notability tag. ϢereSpielChequers 22:26, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
- Updated the article to address notability concerns. Added a number of reputable sources for fashion content, all of which contain significant coverage of the Herve Leger brand. Sources now include Women's Wear Daily (major fashion trade / industry publication), Style.com (Vogue magazine's online division), New York Magazine's online fashion designer directory, and nationally recognized high-end online retailers Net-a-Porter.com and BG.com (Bergdorf Goodman online).Winston789 (talk) 12:32, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Please remove any and all links to http://www.hervelegeruk.co.uk/ This site is a retailer. According to the stores list on http://herveleger.com/fall2011/ (official site of Herve Leger), this store is also NOT a legally registered Herve Leger distributor either.

- I seem to have done so, although before I saw this request. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 06:02, 24 July 2011 (UTC)
Article name
editThe article was moved in June 2014 from Herve Leger to Hervé Leger, on the grounds that the latter is the legal name, though there is no citation for that. The article begins "Hervé Léger, sometimes deliberately written as Herve Leger..." - this is undoubtedly true, though the citation from a non-notable fashion writer doesn't support it. It would seem unlikely that the legal name is Hervé Leger, and is much more likely to be Hervé Léger, but as I have no source to hand am raising it here rather than boldly moving the article again. Of the three versions it is certainly the minority usage on Google with searches that exclude the alternative versions: "Herve Leger" 1730k, Hervé Léger 1260k, Hervé Leger 172k. Hervé Leger → Hervé Léger – This is the correct spelling. Cf. the article on the French Wikipedia and Hervé Léger's own website. Zacwill (talk) 15:06, 2 October 2023 (UTC)
- Support. English-language secondary sources predominantly use the two accents. 162 etc. (talk) 15:31, 2 October 2023 (UTC)
