team list

edit

the team list was getting good. and then someone created that fourth column. now its all screwed up. nice...

fixed it for ya's. boo yah! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.247.76.32 (talk) 18:32, 3 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello everyone, yesterday was my first time ever looking at this entry as I was doing a bit of reminiscing. One change I would like to suggest is when Bethlehem Catholic was established, it should be 1991. We played in, and won the LVSHL championship the first year of the league, with our only loss coming to Liberty. I'm a bit new to these behind the article discussions... do I just go and edit that or is someone assigned to do it? --Chrishutch13 (talk) 07:42, 18 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

team list

edit

the team list needs updating. the chart is a mess.

Penna Cup

edit

according to a 1981 philly inq papaer article the penna cup was started by the flyers because there was no penguins cup and they wanted someone to play the winner of the flyers cup. so that means the penna cup was not begun in 1970 whatever year. it should be changed. see Flyers Cup Dirk Pitt 17:54, 10 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Oversight Citations

edit

The need to cite a source for "However, Pennsylvania's high school ice hockey is sanctioned by USA Hockey and varsity-level programs are marginally overseen by the NHL Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers organizations through the Penguins Cup and the Flyers Cup" is not required as the information for that is found through the Flyers Cup and Penguins Cup wiki pages. The winners of the Penguins Cup play the winners of the Flyers cup for the State Championships. The sport is not run by the PIAA.

– Standard naming conventions for a topic that is divided into regional categories or articles is "TOPIC in PLACE". Even the parent category for all of these articles is Category:High school ice hockey in the United States. JohnnyPolo24 (talk) 02:34, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Support sounds good, except if we're going to go to the trouble and move these articles they should include "ice hockey" to help distiguish between the other types of hockey such as roller, field, etc... Bhockey10 (talk) 03:22, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
I'd support the suggested alterations. JohnnyPolo24 (talk) 18:30, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

2024 Update

edit

Hey all! Noticed that this has not been touched in a long time but I added about a 150 championships missing throughout all the leagues and did a lot of research! Also added a few missing teams! AnonymousStrawberry (talk) 00:34, 8 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
