8-bit era term description
editHi, I don't usually involve myself with the making and upholding of articles. However, looking over this article I was trying to learn what exactly the term "8-bit" refers to (Is it the color palette?) I did not read the whole article but there is no reference to etymology in the beginning or overview. If someone, who can edit and knows the answer, could add to this? Thanks AidanorAJ (talk) 00:38, 4 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Aidanor aj Later in the lead, at the second mention of 8-bit, it links to 8-bit computing. This is a reference to the size of instructions that the processor (CPU) handles. -- ferret (talk) 01:42, 4 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Ferret thank you, I appreciate it AidanorAJ (talk) 16:55, 4 September 2022 (UTC)
Tomy Pyuta Jr is missing
editThe Tomy Pyuta Jr console is missing from the 3rd generation page. The Pyuta Jr, released in 1983 in Japan, is the console version of the Pyuta (Tutor) computer, just as the Sega SG-1000 is the console counterpart of the SC-3000 computer.
