Honeymoon Hotline
editThe phone number on the truck that is on the cover is a hotline number that you can call and when you press the number of a track from the track list, Lana reads some of the lyrics to you. It was active the day the album cover was revealed and will become more available proceeding the albums release. Here are some sources:

Details
edit- @Another Believer: Hey, we all need to change some stuff from the track list because it isn't correct. The album credits need to be added. I'm saying this because the PDF I got on buying the album from iTunes has number of credits mentioned that don't match to what are written over here. It will be too tedious though. Arjann (talk) 18:00, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
- I don't have the credits available to me, but thanks for pointing out the errors. Hopefully someone else will be able to help sooner than later, or at least remove the wrong credits so the right ones can be added later. ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:11, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
- You aren't being specific and you're wrong. Here's what the booklet has on its 11 page: "All songs written by Lana Del Rey and Rick Nowels." (first paragraph), "Except 'High by the Beach' (Del Rey/Nowels/Menzies) 'Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood' (Marcus/Benjamin/Caldwell), and 'Burnt Norton (interlude)' (T.S. Eliot)" (second paragraph). --Rose (talk) 05:56, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
Orphaned references in Honeymoon (Lana Del Rey album)
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Honeymoon (Lana Del Rey album)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "Rolling Stone":
- From High by the Beach: Reed, Ryan (August 10, 2015). "Hear Lana Del Rey's Synth-Driven New Song, 'High By the Beach'". Rolling Stone. Retrieved August 11, 2015.
- From West Coast (song): Young, Killian (May 6, 2014). "Lana Del Rey Goes Hollywood Film Noir in 'West Coast' Video". Rolling Stone. Retrieved February 3, 2015.
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 21:53, 18 September 2015 (UTC)
Critical reception
editHoneymoon has an score of 80 on Metacritic. Despite the site clasifies this as "generally positive reviews", the rating is an equivalent to a 4-star rating, which is high enough to be considered "critically acclaimed". Now, there are other articles in Wikipedia, such as Madonna's 'Confessions on a Dance Floor' and 'Music', that have a score of 80 in Metacritic; yet they are shown on Wikipedia as critically acclaimed. Should this albums' critical reception be changed to generally positive reviews or should Honeymoon be clasified as "critically acclaimed"? Should we wait for Honeymoon to be included in the best-of-the-year lists (with a score of 80) to be considered "critically acclaimed"? Andrew Beta (talk) 03:27, 22 September 2015 (UTC)
- Please avoid the "other stuff exists" line of argument. What you should do is find a source to cite that will support your change, i.e. a source that explicitly says this album was acclaimed by critics. Otherwise, stick to what the source actually says, "generally favorable reviews". Dan56 (talk) 15:45, 22 September 2015 (UTC)
Genre
editDue to the style of this album containing the strings and percussion elements present in baroque pop, I believe that the genre posted in the article should be baroque pop — Preceding unsigned comment added by 150.108.242.36 (talk) 01:34, 25 September 2015 (UTC)
Lyrics
edit"Lyrically "Honeymoon" features content that touches upon tortured romance, bitterness, lust and violence.[13] Lyrically Honeymoon is a solitary album, that feature notions of bad love, doomed affairs, cruel men and attempts at escape, Del Reys sadness was seen as a persona and "pose rather than an emotion" and was seen as a "broken-hearted hipsters" album." I don't think the album is about these things. This is not the critical reception section, it's in the Music and Lyrics and this section should show what the album is about. This is more what Ultraviolence was about, not HM. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.173.75.242 (talk) 17:22, 30 September 2015 (UTC)
Singles
edit"Music To Watch Boys To" is the second single from the album, and should be listed as such. This information is quite old, so not sure why it isn't updated yet. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.59.104.84 (talk) 02:44, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
Trip Hop
edit[1] "After injecting some garage-y guitars into 2014's Dan Auerbach-producedUltraviolence, Del Rey returned to the cinematic trip-hop of her star-making 2012 debut Born to Die, balancing catchy slow-burn come-ons like "Freaks".." should Trip Hop be on Genres? cc: Pouvoir1 71.71.30.205 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) Cornerstonepicker (talk) 01:10, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
- It's pretty explicit (they refer to her last LP and then say with this album "Del Rey returned to the cinematic trip-hop...") and the quote is derived from a source as legitimate as Rolling Stone, so definitely. It also is supported by a lot of sources referring to individual songs and solidifies trip hop as an info-box genre for Del Rey. This genre seems to come up very frequently with regard to all of her work. ilovetati91 (talk) 02:01, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
No proof that Freak is coming out on 2/9/16 or that there's a short film for the record!
editI don't know why Freak was added as being released on 2/9/16 as a single, as there is NO proof for that. ALSO, there is no proof a short film for this record is coming out in March. ZachDelRey (talk) 12:46, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
Metacritic
editAs this appears to create some controversy, I will try to clarify some of the points. In general, having something mentioned in a table and in the text is not perceived to be duplication. For instance the date of birth of an artist will be mentioned in the infobox and in the text.
Using Metacritic provides us with a quick introduction to what the album rating is, using the aggregate that it supplies. It is not a review as such, but an adding up of scores. A summary if you will. So using it to introduce the paragraph is perfectly fine. Adding it to the table of ten reviews assists the reader (especially on a mobile platform) to get a quick overview of the critical reception.
In short, I do not see how having both a mention in the text and in the reviews table is somehow duplication or against policy.
For clarification on this see the Album Style Guide and the Album ratings template. Karst (talk) 12:28, 10 February 2016 (UTC)

Requested move 26 September 2017
edit- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: no consensus. Our policy is subjective on the issue of small details disambiguation, so neither argument presented is inherently 'correct'. As there is also no agreement here, we default to the status quo. Jenks24 (talk) 02:01, 25 November 2017 (UTC)
Honeymoon (Lana Del Rey album) → Honeymoon (album) – There is no other other album with a Wikipedia page that is directly titled "Honeymoon". The only album with a similar title is Honey Moon (The Handsome Family album), which is written differently. If needed, we could put "This article is about the album by Lana Del Rey. For the album by The Handsome Family, see Honey Moon (The Handsome Family album)" at the top of the article. – AgWoolridge—Preceding undated comment added 06:10, 27 September 2017 (UTC) Relisted. Jenks24 (talk) 20:45, 10 November 2017 (UTC) --Relisting. ʍaɦʋɛօtʍ (talk) 21:52, 17 November 2017 (UTC)
- This makes sense to me as well; if anything, the title track article (Honeymoon (song)) should really have the specification of "Honeymoon (Lana Del Rey song)" given that there are two different songs with the same title on Wikipedia. I can make the move if there are no objections to this. --Drown Soda (talk) 05:12, 29 September 2017 (UTC)

- Note. This RM wasn't properly listed until 10 November. Jenks24 (talk) 20:45, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose not enough difference between the two titles to make removing the artist name helpful. In ictu oculi (talk) 21:51, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
- Three titles including Honeymoon, a 1999 album by Rondò Veneziano. In ictu oculi (talk) 15:31, 20 November 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose too small of a detail. Err on the side of caution for the benefit of readers and editors. -- Netoholic @ 22:55, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose per Aleccat, In ictu oculi and Netoholic. When differences are as small as those in, for instance, 50/50 (1982 film), Fifty/Fifty (1992 film) or Fifty-Fifty (2004 film), then a full parenthetical qualifier is warranted. —Roman Spinner (talk)(contribs) 09:08, 18 November 2017 (UTC)
- Support – Honey Moon (The Handsome Family album) should be moved to Honey Moon (album) in addition. JE98 (talk) 03:21, 20 November 2017 (UTC)
- The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
