Merge from Cold Ironing
editWe have two articles covering this topic which appears to have at least 5 different names. Better to combine into one. Vegaswikian (talk) 05:45, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
Separate concept, wrong nomenclature
editCold Ironing is a term related to alternate power to ocean going ships. It has traditionally nothing to do with trucks, vehicles or aircraft. The article named shorepower can be amended to relate to the later. The article named Cold Ironing is more applicable and correct to its content. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.240.132.54 (talk) 17:48, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
Separate concept, incorrect reference to trucks
editCold ironing has nothing to do with trucks and planes. It refers solely to ships. Original article referring to ships is more accurate — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.198.129.35 (talk) 19:20, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
Suggst merge
editWe have the same topic described under two titles. Perhaps the two articles should be merged, or refractored. --Wtshymanski (talk) 13:42, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
