The result of the move request was: Move back to Huron University College. This is confusing since the article was moved before the original RM was closed, then the RM was closed and then reopened subsequent to the move. In any case, there is no consensus for the recent move, so it needs to be reverted. (non-admin closure) В²C ☎ 19:15, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
Huron University College → Huron University – This name change is being requested as the university has rebranded from Huron University College to Huron University. Because of this change, users may become confused not only domestically but internationally, when searching for Huron University and another name shows. JonMunnCan (talk) 18:18, 16 January 2019 (UTC)
- Strong oppose You cannot delete the article about a different school currently located at Huron University just because your school was renamed to the same thing. If you want to delete the other school, you have to follow WP:AFD. One is a 100+ year old university in the US, and this one is one in Canada. And there's another one in England, Huron University USA in London also called "Huron University" -- 70.51.201.106 (talk) 10:07, 19 January 2019 (UTC)
- This can be moved to Huron University (Canada) -- 70.51.201.106 (talk) 16:27, 23 January 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose (return to Huron University College) – the official name of the university has not changed, this is merely a new branding exercise, in the same vein as the name "Huron at Western". The common name remains Huron University College as it is still what is used in reliable sources, including the parent university's own newspaper only a few days ago. Note: I reopened this discussion following a conversation with the editor who moved the page. Bradv🍁 06:11, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose – No source describe any type of renaming so, like my fellow editor Bradv, I would also suggest to return to "Huron University College" title. ABCDE22 (talk) 17:19, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
