Orphaned references in ING Group

edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of ING Group's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "AR2019":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 00:23, 4 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Naming Redundancy

edit

ING Group stands for International Netherlands Group Group. The second "Group" is redundant. ING's own website doesn't use the term "ING Group. Should the page not be renamed? 122.148.227.2 (talk) 07:27, 29 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

For purposes of customer communication, indeed they call themselves ING only. However, the official name of the main company is ING Groep N.V.. They use ING Group also when in the same document they want to refer to one or more of the local country units. Jopimo (talk) 11:24, 28 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
