Talk:I Can See Your Voice (South Korean game show)

Title

edit

All South Korean programs by series shown on television should be collectively as "TV series" in the title, and shoudn't divided into genres (in the infobox) such as "South Korean drama", " South Korean game show", "South Korean reality show", "South Korean variety show", "South Korean music show", "South Korean mystery show", ... To know clearly the genre, the information in the infobox can resolve it, no need to change the title. Kenny htv (talk) 14:29, 12 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Makoy Canlas. If you need to move the page title again, please make a request move by using Template:Requested move in this talk page to let more people discuss it, not asking "only one reviewer" as you did. The page title will be changed if most people support your request when the discussion close. Kenny htv (talk) 14:49, 12 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Split

edit

I oppose splitting this article. The notability of individual series is questionable and this article isn't too long. – Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 11:02, 13 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

I also oppose splitting. The entire information of each season is encapsulated in the tables, it's not too long to need to split into the sub-articles (season 1, season 2, ...). Kenny htv (talk) 11:11, 13 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Tibbydibby: I have added the hide features before but Finnusertop has all removed it. The hide features work well on PCs/laptops but it don't work on smartphone, so for me, the adding of this features on the article is no longer really important. Kenny htv (talk) 02:33, 2 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Kenny htv and Tibbydibby: yes, MOS:DONTHIDE and the documentation of {{Hidden}} are quite clear about this. I can see two possible compromises:
We can make the wikitables collapsible, but not collapsed by default.
We can also revisit splitting. Rather than a dozen season articles, we could simply split the episodes lists to List of I Can See Your Voice (South Korean TV series) episodes. That's a far more sensible scope and also easier in terms of WP:LISTN. But that list, too, would be quite long. In any case, this article should have more prose about what the series is about, its history, production, impact, etc., see WP:MOSTV. I'm not ruling individual seasons articles out, either, but it's difficult for me to assess what kind of Korean-language sources we need to meet notability. – Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 15:10, 2 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Kenny htv, Tibbydibby, and Finnusertop: I had created and splitted six ICSYV season pages, which is created by me, and i cleaned up the whole page on every season. I've created my own effort to work into seasonal pages, except for season 7 (which is work in progress). I have represented on my finished pages on season 1, season 2, season 3, season 4, season 5, and season 6.
Pinging @Tibbydibby, Finnusertop, Kenny htv, DarkFireYoshi: Good day guys. Here's an update for seasonal pages on the original South Korean counterpart. As of 2023, all of ten pages were made! Kindly please look forward to these pages:

Pinging @Tibbydibby, Finnusertop, Kenny htv, DarkFireYoshi: Good day guys. I want to rework on this main article, with all of episode and reception summaries are now moved to separate, seasonal articles shown as above. In that case, I'm now greenlit to delete episodes and ratings sections. Thank you for that patience. Saisønisse (talk) 09:29, 26 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Delete Episodes Portion

edit

Should the episodes portion of this page be removed? Since each season has it's own page with episodes on them, I feel that the episodes portion on the main page is unnecessary now. DarkFireYoshi 18:56, 17 February 2022 (UTC)

Move discussion in progress

edit

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:I Can See Your Voice (Belgian TV series) season 1 which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 01:58, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
