I cleaned this up as best I could, but it is still not good. It really needs rewriting with proper referencing. Important subject though.--OddsBodkins (talk) 10:03, 10 January 2017 (UTC)
Move discussion in progress
editThere is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Effects of global warming on South Asia which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 05:32, 13 November 2019 (UTC)
- Consensus was: not to move. EMsmile (talk) 03:29, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
Suggested changes to headings and structure
editI suggest to change the headings and structure of this article to be in line with the template that has been proposed here for all articles of the nature "Climate change in Country X": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Climate_change/Style_guide (see also discussion on that page's talk page). Anyone has any objections? If not, who's got time to give it a go? I am slowly working away at this for all the countries but would love some collaborators.EMsmile (talk) 03:29, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
- Implementing the outline has helped this article. The two missing Headings are the first (Greenhouse gas emissions) and the last (Society and Culture), so it would be good if we had even a small amount of information on each of these. I'm guessing Sri Lanka contributes little to emissions, but even that needs to be said and documented. Adding those two headings would also make this suite of articles on climate change (country by country) consistent with each other. Also excellent would be a link to here from the main Sri Lanka page, as that mentions climate change.PlanetCare (talk) 15:15, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
