Talk:Ingalara Creek railway bridge, Colinton

name change ?

Michelago to Colinton ?
Michelago town, at the station, had its own bridge (removed) not worth heritage as it wasn't special like this one. The SHR and the S170 listings both say Michelago, the LGOV entry says Colinton which is more correct, actual local locality v minor/major town surround. LGOV entry has the parish/county correct, S170 is way off, SHR doesn't even show. Dave Rave (talk) 21:04, 24 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

the Colinton parish map is bordered north of the creek including the bridge, Michelago parish map doesn't. Dave Rave (talk) 23:55, 25 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ingalara Creek railway bridge, MichelagoIngalara Creek railway bridge, Colinton – not in Michelago Dave Rave (talk) 06:33, 25 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

SUPPORT: Even Colinton is a bit of a hike from/to the bridge; but certainly much closer than Michelago. Rangasyd (talk) 09:53, 25 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Comment: Ingalara Creek forms the boundary at this point between the localities of Michelago and Colinton as proclaimed by the GNB in 1996.(https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/6066033#map=12/-35.8597/149.2019)--Grahame (talk) 05:38, 26 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
and a very poorly drawn boundary it is, but it's hard to do freehand, look at the Parish Maps Dave Rave (talk) 05:43, 26 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
