Psychology Assignment
editI would not consider this an article, not even close. The information was only two sentences, could be less. It needs more information and details. It shouldnt even be a page. The only good thing about it was listing the professors that teaches in the institute. Khaycee18 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 21:48, 18 September 2011 (UTC).
Psychology 101 critical analysis
editThis is a re-direct for "The Institute of Higher Nervous Activity"; it does not explain what higher nervous activity is, nor does this page expand on what the institute does, i.e. related services or research. This page does seem to have an interesting subject; the page needs to either be expanded on or recommended for deletion. SgtLarkin (talk) 00:47, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
I. P. Pavlov coined the the term higher nervous activity; he felt it was the central nervous systems interaction with the environment. He also believed thoughts and consciousness were also part of the higher nervous system. Pavlov's theories and work in higher nervous activity influenced the development of neuroscience.[1] SgtLarkin (talk) 23:28, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
Review of Classmate's Sentence
The student did a nice job of adding pertinent information that improved the article. By citing the work of I. P. Pavlov, the student developed a sufficient base of forming a successful article. I like that the student began with broad ideas, allowing for ideas to narrow later on in the project. It appears that the student cited the material he used in his sentences, but I am unable to access the link at this time. Assuming that these sentences were not just copied and pasted, these sentences are sufficient, and no further editing is necessary. --70.130.129.22 (talk) 16:51, 9 October 2011 (UTC)— Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.130.129.22 (talk) 16:46, 9 October 2011 (UTC) --RKennedy06 (talk) 19:54, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
So from what I read it seems like the source is reliable and it gives alot of information that the article was lacking, but I was unable to go to the site in which you got the information which could cause some problems in the future.--Shannonschulte92 (talk) 17:15, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
After reading the students additions i think he did a good job, however i think he should maybe put a little information on who Pavlov is so someone who might not know who he was doesnt have to research who he is to understand the article. --ShannonL6789 (talk) 20:18, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
