Talk:Interest graph

I think this article should be called "Interest graph" for consistency with Wikipedia MoS and parallelism with "Social graph", a closely-related sibling article. Currently it is called "Interest Graph" and redirects from "Interest graph". The inverse should be the case I believe. I'm not quite sure how to do that though. Perhaps someone else can do it or briefly explain how (wasn't apparent to me from documentation).

I also recently submitted a significant refinement of this article to improve tone and style conformance, remove editorial text and add additional facts with associated citations. I tried to preserve the facts and associated citations from the original article contribution. I tried to Talk to the original article submitter to ensure they were on-board with the changes I was proposing, but s/he does not appear to be an active user at this point. If the original author or others have questions, comments or revisions to the edits I submitted, I welcome discussion here on the Talk page.

I've done a little editing before, but am by no means expert, so if I am doing something incorrectly, please point it out as you make the correction so I can improve my accuracy for future contributions and editing.

Animation

Suppose two people have similar interests, such as photo and they like the same music. So there is a relationship between them based on their interests which can be shown by interest graph. Vertices correspond to entities, and edges are the relationships between entities.

Picture

Red edges are the part of an interest graph, where relations (red edges) could be between (1) user and interest and (2) between users. Blue edges are the part of a social graph, where there are relations only between users.

What's new since 2013?

The article may need updating to reflect changes in how interest graphs are used, created and linked to other techniques. With one exception, all the references are from 2013 or earlier. And six years is a long time in the evolution of web development, marketing and social media.
