Exit list clean up
editIt may just be me, but I don't see how the exit list included in this article needs to be cleaned up. Could whom ever marked this article with the exit list clean-up tag please explain what needs to be done? CascadiaTALK|HISTORY 14:09, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
I didn't flag the page, but the list does need cleanup. In many cases the destinations listed do not match the primary guide signs for the listed exit, and some information (e.g. "Finley Flats Rd") is just plain wrong. When I get time (it could be a while), I'll get out the I-17 signing plans & revise the list on the article page to match the "official" primary destinations. RCMoeur 05:14, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
- Um... it might need to adhere to WP:USRD/ELG, as the note says? --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 05:47, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

Reassessed
editI brought this down to C due to the thin History and RD. --Admrboltz (talk) 20:15, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
Incorrect Flagstaff Terminus
editThe picture labeled as the northern terminus is the interchange with Interstate 40, however I-17 continues a quarter-mile past the interchange before dumping on Milton road after the NAU McConnell Dr. exit 134.114.223.242 (talk) 23:43, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
- Nope. I-17 ends at the interchange with I-40, just south of the McConnell Dr. exit. Anyone who says otherwise is misreading the ArcGIS map. The only reason the map shows I-17 going north of I-40 is because there are ramps to and from I-40 that are positioned north of the actual I-40 carriageway. But I-40 is the actual northern terminus. I17 & the Apache Trail.
editThe article claims the I17 was formed from part of the Apache Trail. It was not. The Apache Trail is a good ways east of any part of the I17. 2600:8800:0:179:5970:6339:8C23:B224 (talk) 20:07, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
- Agreed. Whoever wrote "The I-17 corridor roughly follows the Apache Trail, a trail that traversed the Superstition Mountains" misinterpreted the ADOT blog post they cited.
- The ADOT article states "the path from Black Canyon [...] had as many twists and turns as the Apache Trail." It is simply comparing the geometry of the two separate highways to one another. It does not say the Apache Trail route became the I-17 route. The Apache Trail is Arizona SR-88, and a completely separate corridor from I-17. 24.251.216.120 (talk) 23:57, 16 September 2023 (UTC)
- I removed the claim. Thanks! Orange Suede Sofa (talk) 01:11, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
