Adding information to The Post-WWII IRA section

edit

Hey everyone I just currently added additional information to the Post-WWII IRA section, though I added a significant amount of information there still could be improvements made. For example, there could be more information added to the power vacuum the IRA experienced during this time period. Furthermore, I think there could be more information added to the Border campaign and traditionalist nationalism. I'm interested to see how this wiki page improves in the coming months. 130.74.163.250 (talk) 19:30, 2 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

"Ideological shift to the hard right"

edit

The above section in the article is inaccurate and ahistorical. Yes there was an emerging band of fascists in the IRA at the time however these were one of many factions within the IRA, the others being the Communists, the Liberals and the Conservatives. The IRA had a smorgasbord of ideologies at this time, of which fascism was one of many and in fact was a minority position.PailSimon (talk) 11:00, 7 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

I've removed or amended various headings, including that one. I have no objection to them being restored with a more neutral wording if deemed necessary. I realise some content may still need to be added to the Russell section that contained that one. FDW777 (talk) 11:11, 7 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
