Having reviewed MOS:INITIALS, this page's title should be changed from J. B. Shuck to JB Shuck. This case satisfies both criteria necessary to overcome Wikipedia's default naming convention for initialized names such as this one.

Per 2019 MLB player name presentation preferences[1], Shuck's name is explicitly meant to be presented as JB Shuck with no periods in JB. This contrasts with, for example, J.B. Wendleken, whose name presentation is on the page following Shuck's, and specifies that periods should be used when presenting Wendleken's name.

Since this is a low-importance page and I believe the argument for moving the page is overwhelming, so I am going to go ahead and move the page at this time.
