Reading the article again, and particuarly after seeing the Penguin edition without a comma, I'm not sure this is the best way to disimbaguate either. Sorry for wasting people's time. YeshuaDavid (talk) 19:21, 31 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposal for a multimove. 14:53, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Given that the novel has been moved to the correct title, From Russia, with Love (novel) - with a comma - these articles can be better disambaguated. My proposals:

The novel is the only one of that name.

The film is the clear main subject, as the novel has a different name and the video game and soundtrack are al based on the film.

The disimbaguation page would move there. YeshuaDavid (talk) 14:53, 31 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Any additional comments:
  • Oppose Besides the fact that the comma alone is not enough difference, there are also articles on the soundtrack of the same name and video game of the same name. This page should stay as the disambiguation. TJ Spyke 16:30, 31 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • Comment (and obvious support): With regard to the soundtrack and video game, as addressed above, they are both based on the film and are subsequently less significant than the main film article. See The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (video game) for a direct parallel. With regard to the comma, I diasagree that it is not enough of a disambiguation: I would place the relevent hatnotes where neccessary, so it would be easy to navigate. • The Narnia one is between 2 articles, which warrant a hatnote. This is among 4 articles and 3 of them are notable (the soundtrack is not that notable and could probably be merged with the movie article). TJ Spyke 17:18, 31 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
      • With regard to Narnia, there is also an article about the book - listed simply as Prince Caspian (the character is listed as Caspian X). That means there are three notable pages for Caspian, and three (four including the sountrack) for FRwL. As the Caspian example shows, the videogame is a derived work and rated less notable than the film. The hatnotes would be pretty clear, and I doubt any readers on this site wouldn't be able to find the right article. YeshuaDavid (talk) 17:25, 31 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose The current presentation is clear, straight forward and user friendly. --Bejnar (talk) 17:30, 31 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • Not convinced. A look at WorldCat strongly suggests that the current editions of the novel omit the comma (one exception since 1988, and that's an anthology. An odd fact (is that when those who had grown up with the movie began becoming executives high enough to have the final decision?); but it means that a good many readers will be looking for the novel with that punctuation. Better they should go the dab page, or (if they are thoughtful enough to include (novel)) be redirected here. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 18:30, 31 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
