Overall this article is pretty good, however here's a few things I'd like to see fixed:

  • "He briefly traveled to Vincennes, Indiana and St. Louis, Missouri looking for a place to practice, but finding none, he returned to Kentucky, was admitted to the bar in 1797," he was looking for somewhere to practice law before he was admitted to the bar? I'm confused.
  • Now that I look back at the sources, I'm not sure why I wrote it that way. The way I write articles (expanding from one source, then moving to the next source, etc.) I probably just failed to pay enough attention to the chronology. I've fixed it now.
  • "They had four children.[6] Susan died in 1825.[5]" Any possibility of elaboration here? I ask since those sentences are so short that I feel maybe it'd be better to combine that into a sentence or with another sentence.
  • I wish I could elaborate. I've been surprised how many times I've been writing a bio and the sources only say "John Doe first married Jane Smith. He later married Sally Jones." It almost leaves the reader with the idea that some of these guys were polygamists! I always include the details when I have them, but unfortunately, I don't. I don't even have his children's names, which I usually include unless there are a bunch of them. Sorry.
  • "and served in this capacity until his resignation in 1812.[7]" Anything written on why he resigned?
  • Nope. Just rechecked all the sources. The only one that even mentions his resignation is Levin. The rest just say he served on the court for two years, then go right to him being elected to the House. Given that he resigned from the court and was elected to the House in the same year, I'm inclined to believe he resigned in order to run for Congress, but absent this being explicitly mentioned in a source, it'd be WP:OR to state that.

That's pretty much it, as it's a nice article. I'll put it on hold for a few days so this can be fixed. Wizardman 18:43, 14 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the review. Hope my responses above address your concerns. Let me know if more work is needed. Acdixon (talk contribs count) 03:15, 15 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Alright. Everything checks out now, and I feel comfortable passing the article. Wizardman 17:26, 15 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

I do ask for one more thing though (not a big deal for GA, so i didn't call it there). The reference "National Register of Historic Places: Governor James A. Clark House". National Park Service. [1] is a dead link. That should be fixed or removed if it's not necessary. Wizardman 17:47, 15 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
