Military Service
editThe section on Military service is kind of thin. I note:
- The only pages google finds referencing this are shameless copies of wikipedia
- He was three times elected to a civilian position during the ACW
- He has two cousins, Kenner Garrard and Theophilus T. Garrard, who were generals. They are mentioned on List_of_American_Civil_War_generals_(Union) but he is not.
