Birth/Death Dates
editIt says that James Roosevelt Jr. was born in 1854 and died in 1927. I think I can vaguely remember once seeing exact dates, but I can't remember what they were. Would anyone happen to know what they are? If so, then please do tell.Thesomeone987 (talk) 03:14, 12 August 2010 (UTC)Thesomeone987
- If you had a "vague" memory of exact dates, why did you, using the IP 75.68.82.23, change the article to show specific dates in this edit? (Your contention that your account was "hacked" is not in the least believeable - your current account and the two IPs you used previously share specific editing quirks that show that the edits are from the same person.) I'll repeat what I said in my comment on Talk:Theodore Roosevelt, I suggest that you do not make any changes to substantive information in an article unless you have a citation from a reliable source to support it. I'll be watching your edits very closely, and those of the two IPs as well. Beyond My Ken (talk) 03:28, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
"Five Gateways" genealogical site a reliable source?
editIn connection with this edit, I've started a discussion on the Reliable Sources Noticeboard about whether this site can be considered to be a reliable source. Those interested can find the discussion here. Beyond My Ken (talk) 21:45, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
Name
editVery surprised to see no discussion here or in the article of his unusual name. Why the identical middle and last names? I suppose he was named after his father, but you'd expect that to make him James Roosevelt II or Jr. --BDD (talk) 18:36, 23 September 2016 (UTC)
