Thank you for taking up the review. Sasata and I look forward to your comments. – VisionHolder « talk » 16:06, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
- You're very welcome! Fine job with this article... everything is in order, after a couple nitpicks:
- In Taxonomy and phylo, may we have more on its synonymy? Mention how the little dude goes from Nycticebus javanicus->Bradylemur tardigradus->N. tardigradus javanicus->N. javanicus. Also, albeit obvious, define the specific epithet javanicus. Rcej (Robert) - talk 07:05, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
- I may have something in one of the sources I have on my home computer. Most sources don't cover all the odd names from the time when taxonomic names were all over the place. However, I think the article already covers its promotion from N. tardigradus javanicus to N. javanicus. I'll check when I get home from work this evening. – VisionHolder « talk » 15:50, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
- I found the source for Lesson's Bradylemur tardigradus online, and added a source & link for that. Couldn't find online the actual sources for the remaining two synonyms, so I just mentioned them in the text and cited a recent source that listed the synonyms. This doesn't really cover why the genera or species names were changed, but at least they are mentioned in the text now. I also couldn't find a source that explicitly said that javanicus means "from Java", probably because it's so obvious. I'm putting it in the article uncited as a statement that is unlikely to be challenged. I'm hoping a library trip this weekend will shed more details about the taxonomy (detials which will probably be necessary for FAC). Sasata (talk) 16:04, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
- Good... I will pass the article! Its nice seeing you get your head out of the mushroom vapors occasionaly, Sasata... jeez Louise ;) Nice working with you again Visionholder! Rcej (Robert) - talk 04:03, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
- Lol! There'll be more of these cutesy big-eyed primates coming down the pipe, but it's only a temporary diversion ... my heart still lies with the fungi ;-) Sasata (talk) 04:33, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the review! Likewise, I'll eventually get back to my lemurs. – VisionHolder « talk » 06:04, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
