Accuracy of article
editTag added because the sales and single charts are not referenced and according with comparison to other sites these are incorrect.
Please can people stop adding un-sourced material: information, statistics, rumours etc.. It gives fans a false hope and obviously most of it is fabricated.

I also question the mention of an alleged 10th original member "Chris." This person is not featured in any capacity in the "S Club Juniors - The Search" special, nor is there any mention of such a person elsewhere on the internet. In the original video on the band's formation, there are always nine kids - which includes Connor who left - not ten, as someone has alleged. Unless someone can confirm this, I say it should be removed.

I remember from the S Club Search Programme, Nicky Chapman said they could of chosen 10 persons to be in the final group. Connor was in the final original 7. Few days later, Aaron and Hannah joined after the judges had a re-think. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.77.11.219 (talk) 01:54, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
Not To Be Merged Into American Juniors
editThere is no reason at this time to merge both topics.(Pleasantview 07:19, 2 February 2007 (UTC))
They are from diffrent countries and sing different songs. You can't merge them it would be stupid! 83.104.51.181 18:35, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
S Club 8 sales

Merge
editAs per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Daisy Evans, information from the separate articles on the individual band members was merged here. See those article (which now redirect here) for GFDL attribution and history information on the content in the "Members" section as of this date. DES (talk) 20:26, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
Calvin Goldpink
editI dispute keeping information on Calvin solely on this page. It is an insult for him, as an up and coming actor, to just be known as "Calvin from S Club 8". People looking for information on him want to hear about him, not about the band he was in. If necessary, they can look up that seperately. Babygurl1853 14:29, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
Vocal Ranges/Ability
editFrankie - Soubrette
Rochelle - Contralto
Stacey - Light Spinto Lyric Soprano
Daisy - Soubrette / Light Lyric Soprano
Hannah - Soubrette
Jay - Tenor
Aaron - Baritone / Bass
Jack - Baritone
I think this would be really interesting to add to the Wikipedia article, but I cant be bothered to join.

- After the Unreferencedsection tag was removed without adding references, I tried to find some. A quick search over the web showed no mention of the names near the mentioned vocal ranges. So I suspect the section to be original research, which even though it is interesting and useful, has no place in Wikipedia. If no references are found, the section may eventually need to be removed. Please find some references... Gidi70 20:05, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
Frankie is actually an alto- she said so. 20:19, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Fromabove.jpg
editImage:Fromabove.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
jack ives?
editi'm more of an S Club 7 kind of guy, but i followed the juniors enough to know that there was no member named jack ives...it seems somebody replaced all mentions of calvin with this jack person....somebody changed a few back, but i removed all remaining references on this page (including a link to a website for IVES & ASSOCIATES Advertising Agency) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.233.35.2 (talk) 05:29, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
Removed some POV
editI've taken out a claim that The Saturdays are "very good". While they may well be, and I haven't heard them, so can't comment, it shouldn't be mentioned on wikipedia. 86.12.224.190 (talk) 02:02, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
Jay Asforis Redirect
editCan someone please tell me why the article for jay Asforis redirects to the S Club 8 page?--1deano1 (talk) 19:13, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

editJay is not chipmunk
editThe article states that Jay is now chipmunk. This is not true it is just a rumor going around that many people actually believe. I have tried to delete it but it keeps getting reverted. Surely this needs evidence to even be on there???? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Biggsey79 (talk • contribs) 14:43, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

S Club 8 → S Club Juniors – As a four-piece they've changed their name back to S Club Juniors. Relisted. BDD (talk) 23:16, 29 April 2013 (UTC) Unreal7 (talk) 12:23, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
- Comment. Do you have any references to support this move? Zarcadia (talk) 22:54, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
- Their official Twitter page. https://twitter.com/SCJOfficial Unreal7 (talk) 10:05, 20 April 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose. The case seems entirely based on the official name rather than on our article naming policy. It's not even clear to me whether the eight-piece and the four-piece are the same group. Clarify the article first, at present it reads like an extended press release from the promoters. Andrewa (talk) 15:42, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
- Well they are. Less members doesn't mean a different band. Unreal7 (talk) 13:39, 6 May 2013 (UTC)
- The above discussion is preserved as an archive of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
Girls' surnames
editFrankie is Bridge now, Rochelle is Humes now, and Hanna was Richings. Why isn't that in the page in the beginning of it? 95.153.135.177 (talk) 21:55, 18 June 2016 (UTC)

This article has seen a swarm of BLP policy violations, with IPs and one user edit-warring to re-insert problematic BLP material. The disruption comes from User:Lovefromjuliaxo who has alternated with the London IP ranges Special:Contributions/2A0A:EF40:729:8601:0:0:0:0/64 and Special:Contributions/2A0A:EF40:6AB:1D01:0:0:0:0/64, Special:Contributions/2A0A:EF40:6AA:9E01:0:0:0:0/64, Special:Contributions/2A0A:EF40:6C5:401:0:0:0:0/64, and Special:Contributions/2A0A:EF40:600:1E01:0:0:0:0/64, and also Scottish IP Special:Contributions/89.243.181.241.
The controversial material is about Connor Daley who was part of S Club Juniors but soon removed from the group. The reason for removal does not have a reliable source which means it cannot be re-inserted. Also, Connor Daley should not be emphasised in any way as he was not involved with any of the group's hit singles or albums. He should not be mentioned in the lead section at all.
