Is the subject notable enough?

Is this just a vehicle to promote the subject's webpage?User:Mikereichold | User_talk:Mikereichold 21:33, 22 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

I think he's notable for being a touring backup for beach boys/brian wilson. I mean, is everything on wikipedia notable? all links in a promotion for the subject? But then again, what is notable? what is relevant? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.134.186.44 (talk) 23:53, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Without question, Jeffrey Foskett is more than notable enough. Mr. Foskett is a great musician and vocalist, and the second more important member of Brian Wilson's touring band. His leadership role in this musical group has been an essential factor in the return to public performance by Mr. Wilson over the past 15 years. And we all know how notable Brian Wilson is. Illness

Is there some reason Foskett's life-threatening battle with cancer is not mentioned? Is it part of the "living person" category rules?

Here is one reference to his struggle: https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-features/jeffrey-foskett-interview-beach-boys-brian-wilson-918373/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.202.35.245 (talk) 19:27, 28 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
