Neutrality is questioned when the blame of the downfall of the Jiangxi Soviet Republic is laid entirely on Bo Gu and co., and Mao is credited as a savior... |

Beginning, Collapse and Encirclement sections have no citations
editThis article has been in violation of policies for a long time. In some cases it's written in a non-encyclopedic, heavily POV style, but the largest issue is there just aren't any citations so it's an NPOV violation by definition. Much of it reads like prose because it describes and makes value judgements about internal states in a way that could only be incorporated encylopedically if we were able to provide it as the account of a specific source. I suspect that it's derived from a single source or a couple of related sources but I haven't been able to find any of them by searching.
The only section that seems properly cited is "Purges and Massacres" but the rest of the article needs heavy revision. It's been tagged since 2010 for these issues without being addressed. It seems like it would be appropriate to delete this content soon.

Jiangxi–Fujian Soviet → Jiangxi Soviet – Although there were multiple soviets in the Jiangxi region, historians overwhelming refer to this base as simply the "Jiangxi Soviet". In the interests of being WP:CONCISE and using WP:COMMONNAME, I suggest a move. SilverStar54 (talk) 23:17, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
