Jim McAlister (Scottish footballer) → Jim McAlister – American is called Jimmy, not Jim. Unreal7 (talk) 20:03, 3 October 2016 (UTC)
- Comment. Before yesterday's move of Jim McAlister (American soccer) to Jimmy McAlister, the Jim McAlister disambiguation page listed two names — Jim McAlister (American soccer) (born 1957) and Jim McAlister (Scottish footballer) (born 1985) as well as "See also" Jim McAllister (disambiguation). Moving the American Jim to "Jimmy", thus making the qualifiers for both the American and the Scotsman unnecessary, would be for the best, except that a number of references, such as this one, this one (12th paragraph) or this one (3rd paragraph), continue to list Jimmy as "Jim". —Roman Spinner (talk)(contribs) 20:52, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
- Support per nom. Hatnotes will suffice. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:02, 11 October 2016 (UTC)*
- Support per nom. Only subject that is called Jim. CookieMonster755 𝚨-𝛀 00:53, 12 October 2016 (UTC)
- The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
