Moved. In answer to the nom's question about John Hedges (English politician, died 1737), yes – according to his bio in the cited reference on his article page, he served as Envoy Extraordinary to Turin in 1726. Good catches all around! Have a Great Day and Happy Publishing! (nac by page mover) Paine Ellsworth put'r there 23:52, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
- John Hedges (English politician) → John Hedges (English politician, died 1562)
- John Hedges (died 1737) → John Hedges (English politician, died 1737)
- John Hedges (Governor) → John Hedges (British governor)
– Disambiguation, consistency, and MOS:JOBTITLES. We don't know the birth year of the one that died in 1562. We do have the birth year of John Hedges (died 1737), but it might be strange to have one of them use the birth year and the other use the death year. The governor should at least be moved to lowercase – per MOS:JOBTITLES – and maybe to "politician" also. Should he be called English too? We don't know when the governor was born or died. Incidentally, do you think the John Hedges that died in 1737 might be the same person listed as a diplomat on the dab page and serving as an envoy for 1726–1727 as listed at List of diplomats of the United Kingdom to Sardinia? —BarrelProof (talk) 13:19, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
