Hi there, and thank you for nominating this article at GAN. Unfortunately, I am going to be immediately failing this article in response to section one of WP:GAFAIL, which states that an article may be failed if it is a long way from meeting any one of the six good article criteria
. The criterion I am looking at is WP:GACR #1(c), which concerns original research. Many sections of this article do not have citations to reliable sources. These sections include:
- The first paragraph in "Early years"
- The entire "College career" section
- The sentence stating his draft position
- The entire 2019 section
- The entire personal life section (it is especially important to cite all information in "Personal life", because this can very easily lead to violations of our policy on the biographies of living people).
I also noticed some prose and manual of style issues, particularly regarding the use of dashes, but these are secondary to the citation concerns. Additionally, I am worried about the broadness of the article: he spent four years in college but the article covers only one, and two sentences seems hardly satisfactory to cover an entire year in the NFL.
Don't let this discourage you from working on the article more and re-submitting once all of these points have been addressed, but in the moment, the issues within the article must be surmounted before a full review can be assessed. — GhostRiver 18:41, 6 April 2022 (UTC)
