John Mactaggart (1791-1830)John Mactaggart (writer) – or John Mactaggart (author) or John Mactaggart (encyclopedist). Wikipedia doesn't ordinarily use date ranges (especially with hyphens) for disambiguation of people. He seems best known as an encyclopedist. He also published Three Years in Canada and "several newspaper articles". Wikipedia tends toward general categories for disambiguation, so suggesting "writer" instead of "encyclopedist" as my first choice. — BarrelProof (talk) 19:24, 23 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
