editEvery other current MTV News reporter, save one, has a Wikipedia page. Norris has been on a major television channel for almost 20 years now. --Josephgrossberg
John Norris is clearly a notable person for inclusion in Wikipedia. I don't know why the article was flagged with the notability template, but I removed it. A quick search through the encyclopedia proves that all of the other MTV News reporters and MTV VJs over the years are considered "notable" enough for Wikipedia. --Samvscat 15:11, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- (1) Guys, it would be very helpful to find external sources about John Norris -- since MTV is his employer, that source is not external. (2) If there are lots of non-notable MTV folks on Wikipedia, that's not an argument to keep this one -- it's an argument to delete them all. (3) As a practical matter, if there are no sources more extensive than his bio on MTV's website, can you explain the value of having this page on Wikipedia? Pan Dan 14:26, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
incorrect information
editJohn Norris did not conduct the Madonna/Courtney Love interview; that was Kurt Loder. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.163.245.150 (talk) 00:13, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
