The result of the move request was: moved 1st, 2nd, and 4th as proposed, not moved the 5th. Leaving the Chilean footballer as is per Paintspot's !vote (which does not seem to run afoul of any of the support specifics). Seems the 4th could be moved again to José Salcedo (Spanish footballer), and no prejudice here against that. -- JHunterJ (talk) 17:13, 14 May 2020 (UTC)
- José Salcedo (disambiguation) → José Salcedo
- José Salcedo → José Salcedo (film editor)
- José Salcedo (Chilean footballer) → José Salcedo (footballer, born 1980)
- José Antonio Salcedo Sánchez → José Antonio Salcedo (footballer)
- José Antonio Salcedo → José Antonio Salcedo (politician)
– No WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, so disambig should be primary. Disambiguating footballers to standard, since they don't use maternal name professionally. Ortizesp (talk) 17:09, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. None among those listed at the disambiguation page appears to be primary in the English-speaking world. Also, no maternal surname for the footballer. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 21:57, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
- Note: This discussion has been included in WikiProject Football's list of association football-related page moves. GiantSnowman 17:51, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
- Support per nom. GiantSnowman 17:52, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
- Support 1+2+3+4 per nom. Oppose José Antonio Salcedo who is clearly the primary topic and should remain on his name. The politician resored a country (in Dominican Restoration War) and has geographic locations named after him. The footballer plays in the 2nd Spanish division, and is not expected to have any lasting significance. A search in google books and scholar shows that the politician is strongly established as the primary topic.--Bob not snob (talk) 07:52, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
- Support all except the last as above. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:14, 13 May 2020 (UTC)
- Support 1st and 2nd move per nom. Neutral on 4th and 5th move. However, I oppose the 3rd move – typically, football players are also disambiguated by country (and they're typically only disambiguated by birth year if there's multiple from that country). Readers are more likely to know the nationality of a football player than what year a football player were born. Paintspot Infez (talk) 14:00, 14 May 2020 (UTC)
