Bong Jung-keun → Jung Bong – Should be moved per WP:COMMONNAME. During Bong's career in North America, he was exclusively known as "Jung Bong." Yes, I understand how Korean naming conventions work but those conventions are very rarely applied to Korean sportspeople in the western world and were certainly not applied to Bong. Baseball-Reference, Fangraphs, The Baseball Cube, Baseball Almanac, SABR and Baseball America all call him "Jung Bong." A Google Images search shows that he was only called "Jung Bong" on his American baseball cards (excepting the one commemorating his time pitching for Team Korea in the World Baseball Classic). - Oppose: As per spelling of KBO and LG Twins. Now he belongs to player of LG Twins, and LG Twins spell his name as "Bong Jung Keun". Thanks. --Garam (talk) 18:32, 23 March 2018 (UTC)
- Support move: All English-language sources call him Jung Bong, which is certainly his common name. ONR (talk) 18:58, 23 March 2018 (UTC)
- Please see above KBO website. --Garam (talk) 08:28, 24 March 2018 (UTC)
- Indeed, please do! It is a primary source and so of little relevance. It would be relevant if there were no secondary sources, but there are lots. (And the other source you cite in your !vote above is also primary, and not even in English.) Andrewa (talk) 23:55, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
- Support Title should reflect whichever name he is most commonly referred to in published media. Even if he uses a current name or form that is different. DA1 (talk) 10:40, 25 March 2018 (UTC)
- Support. English secondary sources are unanimous. Andrewa (talk) 23:44, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
