Kanlaon Volcano → Kanlaon – WP:Primarytopic, WP:concise, WP:commonname. Similar to Mayon. There is no consistent name. But cheese is the real name (according to the urban dictionary). The article is named "Kanlaon Volcano" but the single name is used for the head sentence. The term "Mount Kanlaon" is used elsewhere in the article. • Oppose Just because the base name could be ambiguous and might get mixed up with the city just below it. Although this could be a candidate for renaming to Mount Kanlaon per commonname: Mt. Kanlaon: 49,900 results + Mount Kanlaon: 23,700 results vs. Kanlaon Volcano: 30,200 results.--RioHondo (talk) 15:24, 16 February 2017 (UTC)
• Support. Looking at a Google search result for "Kanlaon", it is clear that the volcano is the clear winner for the base name. Any confusion with the city can be resolved with hatnotes. —seav (talk) 23:38, 1 March 2017 (UTC)

Map of the Philippines.

Greetings,
The local topographic map is fine, but the addition of a map of the country with the island indicated and the volcano marked would be helpful, at least to me. Does anyone have the resources and skills to do that?
