Talk:Kevin Brown (right-handed pitcher)

Current status

Should the opening line be changed stating that Brown "is a retired starting pitcher", as opposed to the current opening that reads: "James Kevin ("Kevin") Brown (born March 14, 1965) was a Major League Baseball right-handed starting pitcher who currently is a free agent." Or should we wait to see if he tries to make a comeback? As I wouldn't be too surprised if Brown attempts to return to the big leagues in the next year or so. List page?

edit

Given that we now have links to five Kevin Browns (incl. the one this article is about), do you guys think it would be advisable to have the main Kevin Brown pg just be list referring to the five different athletes?--Scimitar 17:24, 21 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

As in, change Kevin Brown to a disambiguation page? Sounds good. —Disavian (talk/contribs) 18:03, 21 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Kansas City Royals & Kevin Brown

edit

Someone cited that Kevin Brown submitted a workers comp claim to the Kansas City Royals. This makes no sense as he never played for Kansas city, thus he was never "employed" by Kansas City. There is even an article that clarifies the identity of the Kevin Brown who actually filed the claim.
