Re: My edits on 26th June 2005
editIt is clear from the discussion on FAC that the main objection seems to the be lenght of the article - so I've gone thru all the avilable sources one more time (ie: the book mentioned as a reference and the two websites mentioned as exterior links...) and dregged up more. Personally, I don't think these edits gives anything new to the article.. it still says the same things, only now it spends more time doing so. But hopefully....

Pictures
editThere is no picture of an entire Krag-Peterson rifle on this page... obviously a simple oversight, which I'm sure will be corrected shortly. ZacharyS 07:17, 10 September 2005 (UTC)
- The problem is to get one that is clear, good and preferable free. Still working on it thought. Some images can be seen on the external links, but I've so far not been able to talk the owners of those into releasing the images under a suitable license. WegianWarrior 19:52, 10 September 2005 (UTC)
- Well, I'm delighted that a gun article has made it to this lofty position, and it's really to late to change anything, but it seems like a full picture should be a requirement for featured article status. ZacharyS 03:30, 13 September 2005 (UTC)
Figures
editIsn't rounds-per-minute the standard unit for firearms?
- For automatic firearms, sure. No real standard exist for manually operated firearms, since they are entirely dependant on the shooter. Oh, and please sign your comments on the talkpages with ~~~~, since it makes it easier to see who said what. WegianWarrior 08:20, 15 September 2005 (UTC)
Pronunciation?
