Relevance?
editI've separated out the following text into a sub-section, since it's not clear how (or even if) the information about the Old Pooncarie Mission is relevant to the Kureinji people. However, I hesitated to put that enormous "relevance" warning box on a mere stub article!:
Mission
edit[relevant?] Across the river from the Kureinji, Mildura which is in Ladji Ladji tribal land, was first settled in 1847. [citation needed] Tindale states that the Ladji Ladji lands ran from 'Chaika Creek to Mildura on southern bank of Murray River.'
In 1855, the Church of England Society[which?] funded the Old Pooncarie Mission eight kilometres west of Pooncarie Township on the Darling River.
