Jargon
editThis article could be improved. It's using too much technical jargon. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Garrrick (talk • contribs) 19:51, 12 July 2014 (UTC)

L-ACOUSTICS → L-Acoustics – The company name is not an initialism or acronym, so it does not need all-caps stylization per MOS:TMRULES. At the company website, https://www.l-acoustics.com/en/, the logo is in all-caps but other instances of the name are not, for instance the news items and down at the bottom where it says "Subscribe to the L-Acoustics newsletter". The official Facebook page also has lower case: https://www.facebook.com/lacoustics.info/. In the general literature involving this company, the name is not shown in all-caps in the majority of cases, for instance Church Production magazine and Audio Xpress. - What about the hyphen?: The proposal makes a good argument for dropping the all-caps styling, but doesn't provide a rationale for changing the hyphen to an apostrophe. — BarrelProof (talk) 16:20, 12 April 2021 (UTC)
- Dang, you're right. My high school French kicked in with the apostrophe in the request window. All the example sources shown above use a hyphen between two capital letters. This should have been a request for a move to L-Acoustics. Je suis désolé... Binksternet (talk) 03:51, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
- Soutien avec un trait d'union. — BarrelProof (talk) 17:11, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
