editMagnagatti (means cat-eaters) is a nickname given to Vicenza citizens, not to Vicenza Calcio's players. I changed it. CapPixel 19:05, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
The name Lanerossi.
editThey were called "Biancorossi" – the red-and-whites – and when they were bought by a wool (lana) firm called Lanerossi, they were renamed Lanerossi. Coincidence? I doubt it, but could the article say more on this? Is it really 'just a name' or does it mean Red Wool Vicenza? cf. Red Star Belgrade; Red Bull Salzburg; Red Imps . . .
