@Lapadite77: I'm not denying the certification exists, but on discographies, it is common practice to not list certifications from countries that are not one of the charts listed on that page or even that specific section. All certifications can be listed on the separate release page; discographies are only meant to be an overview of the charts and certifications received, not listing every region something charted or was certified in. Ss112, i'm still not sure what the purpose of your edit is. What do you mean by not listing certifications from countries "not one of the charts listed on that page". Every region isn't listed there; it is the only known certification of the single, and Brazil is a major country, therefore removing it seems arbitrary. Lapadite (talk) 23:00, 22 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Lapadite77: Are you not aware of discographies outside of this article? Because from your confusion you seem to not be aware this is a well-known convention of discographies: we do not list certifications from countries that do not have their charts listed on the page. Nobody is denying that Brazil is a "major country". However, discographies are not intended to be an exhaustive list of every chart or certification a song has appeared on/received. Same as the certification for "Strangers" is not listed at Halsey's discography despite it apparently being the only certification the song has received. I didn't come up with this convention. I don't require any further pings because that's really just the way it is. It's listed on the article for "Strangers"—I think that suffices. Ss11223:06, 22 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
Ss112 You could've just clarified your comment (as I asked), which was worded confusingly, instead of also making ad hominem and straw man commentary (e.g., no where did I say lists and charts are exhaustive). I know that, thank you. Have a good day. Lapadite (talk) 02:10, 24 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Lapadite77: Literally nothing was "ad hominem". Nobody attacked you. I questioned whether you understand discography conventions because what you said and your attitude still indicates you don't understand that. Imagine literally thinking somebody's personally attacking you if they question whether you understand we don't list certifications from countries that do not have charts listed. Also, there was no straw man argument. I answered your question and I believe I addressed what I saw as a snipey comment. Are you just throwing out words now? Honestly. I also asked you not to ping me. Don't be deliberately annoying and continue to ping somebody when they've asked you not to. It shows disregard for the wishes of another editor. Thank you. I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Lauren Jauregui discography's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡22:23, 17 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
