This article is incorrect, referencing a newspaper article that was also poorly written and inaccurate. The Wikipedia entry currently states "She had previously met Peake when working at the NASA Johnson Space Center, just after he had been selected by ESA".
I was working at the Columbus Control Centre at this time - the European control centre for the ISS, not at NASA, though did first meet there shortly after he and his other classmates were selected by ESA.
I also was interested in human spaceflight prior to visiting NASA in 2008 - it was that interest which led to the visit, not vice versa.
If someone could be kind enough to correct these inaccuracies, I would be most grateful.
